[영어회화] 2월 셋째주 영어회화 피드백

 

DAY23

I was hoping you would get a refund on your shirt.

I was hoping you would study hard and get a good score.

I was hoping they would enjoy this dinner.

 

Just like cold pasta.

= It has similar taste as cold pasta.

= It tastes like cold pasta.

 

I am a picky eater. I don't like to eat seafood because of the fishy taste. 

I am trying to lose weight by going to the gym 3 times a week.

I spend my time in home watching movies and youtube about mukbang.

-> I spend my free time watching movies and mukbang videos in Youtube.

 

DAY24

Would you like taking a bus or a subway?

Would you like here or to-go?

Would you like coffee or tea?

 

Come this way.

= Follow me this way.

= Follow me please.

= I will show you the way to the room.

 

May I take your order?

= Would you like to order?

= What would you like to eat?

= Can I take your order?

 

I prefer to take a bus because I can see sceneries.

-> I like to take the bus because I can see beautiful places outside the window.

 

We go restaurants in special day like Christmas

-> We go to restaurants in special occasions like Christmas season.

I don't prepare the food I eat.

 

I am trying not to eat them because not healthy.

-> I am trying to live healthy by eating healthy too.

 

DAY25

We will go Dutch. 

= We will go Dutch treat.

= We will pay individually.

= We will pay separately.

 

Finish exercising, we went my home and eat lunch.

- > After exercising, we went home and ate lunch. 

 

The owner of the restaurant doesn't want us to pay separately.

 

My friends came my home.

-> My friends came to my house.

 

We went to gym for exercising together.

-> We went to the gym and exercised together.

 

It's more convenient.

= It's more suitable.

 

I will keep the memories.

= I will treasure the memories.
